AKAKA GAINS SUPPORT FROM UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII PROFESSORS

HONOLULU ??€" The Hawaii Fire Fighters Association (HFFA) Local 1463 is backing Senator Dan Akaka in his re-election bid to the U.S. Senate.

"I am very grateful to the fire fighters of Hawaii for their support in my re-election to the U.S. Senate,??€ ? said Senator Akaka. ??€œI commend their hard work, utmost dedication and efforts in keeping Hawaii safe.??€ ?

The Hawaii Fire Fighters Association Local 1463 is the exclusive collective bargaining representation of fire fighters throughout the state. Their members are always on the job to protect lives and property as well as assist other first responders in emergency situations.
